Megan's First Steps
OK so these aren't really Megan's very first steps, but the camera wasn't rolling that day. She took a step or two starting about two weeks ago, and now she's starting to put several together.
She can also bend down from standing to squating then sit down without just plopping on her butt, although she does that too sometimes.
I think you have to download the video to your computer to watch it. Hope it doesn't take too long. Will have to see if we can imbed the video from another website later. Just click on the link at the top of this message.
I can't believe how big my little girl is getting. She says Mama and Dada and tries to say fish, book and milk. She's also learning some sign language. Aunt Barbie The Everything Book is her absolute favorite. She loves to turn the pages over and over and over again. She'll sit on my lap and look at that book for about 15 minutes which is pretty long for an 11 month old.

A great visit from Great Aunt Beth
Here is Megan sporting her first ever souvenier. (Where is the spell check when you need it?) Its a very cute Houston Zoo baseball cap. Even though she has her daddy's big noggin she'll have to grow into this one a little.
Daddy and Megan go to San Francisco
Megan loves to give kisses. You can't see it here but we definately need to teach her not to stick her tongue out when she gives them.
Megan's Favorites
Trying out the Blog thing.
Well I created this blog back in April but never really posted anything. I'm trying again.
Megan is, of course, the light of out lives. She went to her first birthday party today and saw her first clown. She wasn't very impressed, but at least she didn't cry. After we got home, David and I spent the afternoon building towers of blocks. Megan had a great time knocking them all down.
Megan also loves to sit on my lap and read her books. She also loves to dance and clap to music. She has figured out that pushing buttons and turning knobs on our stereo will make her music come on and get really LOUD.
Well now to see if I can figure out how to add pictures to this thing. Well had them and lost them will try again.
Love you all. Angela
