We did get in a couple of fun things like our trip to the park. Mom and the kids spent lots of time on the patio blowing bubbles and playing playdough.

We had a little early birthday party for Megan. She did not want to blow out here candles. The "candles" were improvised- don't know what happened to the others between the grocery store and the house. 
Megan and AJ chased each other round and round the family room.
Halmuhni came to visit the day after Mom and Lisa left. Megan was in grandma heaven for almost 3 weeks. It was great to have her here especially since David was so sick with the Flu and than pneumonia.
I think Halmuhni spent 2 days playing "Cave" with Megan. There were lots of giggles.
Megan loves to help chop vegatables for dinner.

The three of us did take a trip to the zoo. Megan acted like a bit of a turkey most of the time but she did enjoy the bird house and the mist sprayers.
We had another party on Megan's Birthday date. Her number 3 balloon was bigger than her.
In mid August we took a quick roadtrip to Columbus to visit family and also so David could escape to Indianapolis for a day for his Fantasy football draft party. We all had a wonderful time.
On Friday we took a trip to Magic Mountain to play "golf golf." The kids were hilarious.
Megan would hit the ball once or twice then pick it up put it right next to the hole and tap it in. AJ took the more direct approach and just dropped it in the hole right away.
Some of Megan's favorite activities at Grandma and Grandpa's house are feeding the birds and picking vegetables from the garden. This time she and AJ went after the tomatoes.

Some of the FAM joined us for a cookout on Friday evening. Megan enjoyed playing with her cousin Emma.

Saturday night was a little chilly. Megan borrowed AJ's sweatshirt and curled up with a blanket for her afternoon snack.
