New York, New York

We had a great time visiting uncle Michael and aunt Seung-a in New York city last weekend. We all had a great time. Mommy and Daddy were especially grateful to her aunt and uncle for letting us go out to dinner and a show on Monday night and to a movie on Tuesday. We saw Avenue Q and American Gangster. We highly recommend both.
Megan had her own seat on the plane for the first time. She was quite the busy body and we definitely needed the extra space to keep her entertained.
We vistedd the natural history museum. Megan loved the dinosaur bones.

She didn't enjoy getting her picture taken in the giant oyster shell.
Uncle Michael was a big hit, he let Megan play with his laptop.

We took a long walk through central park. We didn't know it was the day of the New York City Marathon so we had to take a big detour to find an open entrance. The people in th background are watching the marathon.
The Central park zoo was small, but very well done and we all enjoyed our visit.

Another shot of the Marathon. Megan was a bit fussier than usual so we took her downstairs to the rec room and "played pool."
Megan slept through the best breakfast ever at Norma's.
We also went to the MOMA.

We had to take a picture in front of a painting of Megan's favorite animal sound.
What does the doggy say Megan...."oof, oof."

No trip to NYC with a 15 month old would be complete without a trip to the giant Toys R Us. We also visited FAO Scwartz.
Here's Megan and Aunt Seung-a on our last day.

Halloween

Megan's first Trick-or-Treat was a mixed bag. She loved getting dressed up in her fancy witch outfit and waving her good witch wand. She even wore her hat for quite awhile. Here we are getting ready to head out. We started at around six o'clock so it would still be light outside.

Here we are heading across the street to the neighbors house to get some candy. This is looking like it might be fun.
Here we are across the street at Leslie and Wesley's. (We have several sets of rhyming neighbors.) She was a little timid, but she knows Leslie so things went OK.
We came back across the street and checked out our loot. Some of the neighbor boys from down the street came to give her some candy and then we tried one more house. Unfortunately any time anyone else put anything in her pumpkin- even when it was another little kid- she erupted into tears. So, we came home in trick-or-treat disgrace to pass out candy on the porch.Around seven, Megan was ready to go back inside and we took a nice bath, which she enjoyed, and then we got ready for bed.

October Fun

Ok, so I haven't been very active on the blog site this month. We haven't been doing anything special lately, but the grandparents are all complaining so..... here are a few of Megan's most recent antics.

She's started getting into my pots and pans. Most of the time she actually puts them back when she's done. In this picture, I think she's actually trying to smile for the camera.
She loves to run around the house with her ball popper. She runs from the door to the family room to her bedroom to see how fast she can make it pop.
My girl still likes to play with the telephone. Recently she's been picking it up and saying hello- well more like "O-Ooh." She also starting to talk back to the person on the phone instead of just listening. The other day I got her to tell grandma Bonnie all the animal sounds on the phone.
Megan gives her Valentine puppy and other stuffed animals hugs and kisses.
This weekend we did go to the children's museum. Megan loved the watching the baby chicks and pretending to shop at the grocery store and go fishing.

She'g gotten pretty good at eating with a spoon, when she's not just playing around.

Megan loves going outside and on wagon rides. Thank goodness its finally starting to cool off enough to take her out to play.
What girl can resist trying on mommy's shoes.

Nicole's Wedding

We had a great time with the family in Colorado. I wish there had been more time to just hang out with the family. Here's Megan and I all dressed up.Megan started practicing her moves WAY before the reception began. Here's the whole Glandon, Sauer, Hyun group.
It was fun having all the babies together. Here she is, the dancing queen herself. She really was having fun dispite the sour look.Aawwww.......Dancing with daddy.
Megan had the best time on the train ride. She learned to say choo choo, which came out more like ch ch ch, and even did the arm motions.
Lisa, Brian and AJ
Rare photograph of Eric Glandon.
Megan kept grandma very busy on the train. The view from the top was spectacular, but I don't know how Larry and Dad hiked all the way down. Most of us couldn't catch our breath just walking aroun a little at the top.
Grandpa and his babies.
Grandma and Megan playing.
Megan tried to steal AJ's socks. Later in the week he returned the favor.

Megan Loved going hiking outside with grandma and grandpa .
