February, March, April Update

Late February School was closed for a couple days due to snow. Actually it was a little rediculous- it was only four to six inches of snow but school was closed for two days and started late on the third. Anyway Megan had a great time playing out in the snow both on our balcony and in the common area. When the snow started to melt we actually went out and made 2 foot tall snowman, but I didn't have the camera with me.
Just goofing around.
Megan did this spontaneously, I'm not sure I even knew I was pregnant at the time.

In March we took a trip to New York to visit Chagun Ohma and Chagun Ahpa. We had a wonderful visit as always although I'm afraid we wore auntie Seung-a out a bit. Here they are resting after chasing Megan around the Children's Museaum of Manhattan.
I loved the giant Lite Brite and Megan kind of liked it too.
David and I took shameless advantage of our long suffering sister-in-law and took in both a Broadway show (Billy Elliot- highly recommended!!!) and the Daily Show(Which was Thanks again Chagun Ohma!
No visit to New York with a toddler would be complete without a visit to FAO Schwartz. Megan was enthralled with the Barbie fashion show.
The giant piano was also fun.

Dinner out with mommy and daddy.
We packed alot into our visit, including a trip to the Bronx Zoo.
Of course we stopped at the carousel.
Daddy took Megan out for a walk one morning so I could sleep in. Love you honey.
Great Aunt Barbie was in town for a conference and we were able to meat for dinner before heading to the National Mall to see the WWII memorial. Sadly David was not feeling well and couldn't join us. On Easter (April now) Megan and I made a quick trip to Ohio. It was wonderful seeing some of mom's family. Megan enjoyed painting and dying easter eggs. All the cracked shell just made the deviled eggs extra coloful for Easter dinner. It was cute watching Megan try to carry all of her Easter baskets at once. She must have spent an hour sorting eggs from one basket to another.
Megan's first Easter egg hunt. (Well ok maybe the second, I think they had one at school, but I missed that one and I'm pretty sure we didn't have one last year.) Of course the only picture I took Megan has her eyes closed.
AJ hunting eggs.
Here are the juvenile delinquents who engaged in an extended plastic easter egg fight on the front lawn after the kids finished their egg hunt. I would have joined in but I'd been sick and it was cold out there.Megan played Angel with grandpa. This was a close as we could get to getting a picture of the two of them with grandma. On a rainy day we took off for Chuck E Cheese for greasy pizza and kiddie games. The horse ride and the roller coaster simulator(next photo) were the biggest hits.
