May and June Update

In June Megan and I took a trip to Missouri to attend the Glandon family reunion and to finally introduce Megan to her great grandma Marie. We spent the first night with Cousin Jenn and Dave Killpack and their children. Megan and Kolston had a great time getting rides in the jeep while Laney drove. They ran the battery completely out. Here's Laney pushing them home.

Jillian , Megan, and Laney hanging out on the couch on Sunday morning. Megan just loved having cousins to play with. We still hear all about "my cousins."Sunday morning we were able to make a quick trip to Great Uncle Ken and Sue's place for a great breakfast and a quick visit with great aunts Ruth and Beth, and great uncle Mark. Megan's favorite activity was helping great aunt Sue water all the fires. Thanks to great uncle Bob for the lovely accomodations at the resorts in Branson. It was wonderful to see the Glandons and have a place to just hang out and catch up. Here's Megan and Kolston catching a ride on Kelda and Laney. We took a trip to the fish hatchery and took turns creating feeding frenzies in the tanks. Grandpa helped Megan learn how to play pinball. We took a scenic train ride to Arkansas and back. Here are all of Megans youngest cousins Kelda, Laney, Jillian, Kolston, and Cassie. Megan took turns sitting with everyone and playing with the toy train farther down in the car. Megan and Kolston got along very well for a couple of toddlers year olds.

We also visited the butterfly palace. Megan was very excited to have a butterfly on her arm and she told everyone all about it when she got back to her school.

The weather was a little chilly but we took advantage of the pool whenever we could.

Grandpa Joe and Great Grandma Marie. She looked great. I only wish she could remember her wonderful party.

Here is Grandma Marsie with all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In Mid May David and Megan took a trip together to New York to go to her Uncle Michael's graduation from Columbia Law. It was Megan's first car trip alone with daddy. She did great in the car for daddy.
Here she is with Auntie Seung-a. She's in her dress that Halmuhni bought years ago when daddy and uncle Mike were still little. She was sad that Halmuhni and Halabuhgi weren't able to come.
Congratulations Uncle Michael.

Daddy and Megan had fun together exploring the city. They hit some of the highlights at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Central park. Here's megan posing in the Egyptian wing.
The armor hall was also fun.
Megan recognized some of the paintings from her little Einsteins videos and her Olivia book. Central Park.

Megan went to the playground and wore uncle Michael out.

In the past week we've been starting to pack up the house. Megan likes to play jack in the box and sing Pop Goes the Weasel.
Megan was singing in her high chair this morning and I got her to do a repeat performance for the camera.
